The Forum of Hellenistic and Roman Philosophy cordially invites everyone to its next podium talk titled Romanising Greek Political Thought: Cicero on Magistrates and the Cosmopolis.

Participating in the talk will be Prof. Alex Long (University of St Andrews) and Dr. René Brouwer (University of Utrecht). The event is hosted by Attila Németh (Department of Philosophy, HUN-REN Research Centre for the Humanities) and Georgia Tsouni (Department of Classics, University of Crete).

The online event will be in entirely in English, on December 14, 2023, starting at 6PM (CET, Budapest) / 12PM (EST, New York) / 5PM (GMT, Oxford) / 7 PM (EET, Athens).

Attendees need to register in advance.
