This international conference which will take place in Budapest, Hungary on the 7th of June, 2024, is organized on the occasion of the 70th birthday of László E. Szabó.

László (Professor of Philosophy at the Department of Logic, Eötvös University) has been working on the foundations of quantum mechanics and spacetime physics, on Reichenbach’s Common Cause Principle and interpretations of probability. His deep and rigorous thinking has been a source of inspiration to many of his students and colleagues. Most recent work of László focuses on a physicalist account of mathematics and scientific theories. This workshop is centered around this theme.
