”Seneca and the Narrative Self”, a study by Attila Németh, has been published online in the British Journal for the History of Philosophy (Routledge).

The paper focuses on the narrative aspect of Seneca’s idea of self-transformation. It compares Seneca’s viewpoint with some modern notions of the narrative self to highlight some parallels and significant differences between the ancient and modern conceptions.
